Really tricky
Because I was wrong; Ramekin's post-Halloween vomiting was not caused by a huge day of over-excitement. It was a virus, definitely an ugly little virus.
How do I know this?
Easy. Because we all went to a birthday party down the street late this afternoon, and a couple of hours in, BooBaaa suddenly and without any warning, just like his brother did on Friday night, started vomiting. A lot. And he's been vomiting off and on since we got him home three hours ago.
I suspect snacking continuously, not to mention dinner, at the birthday party has only added to his tummy's misery.
My poor wee boy is so unhappy about his tummy's status, he's refusing to sleep in his bed. Instead, at his own insistence, he's huddled himself up into a little ball and is lying on a couple of oversized towels on the floor next to his little bed. I think he's currently on the fourth set of towels.
Sigh.
I think he just doesn't want to be sick in his bed. (He got a new big boy junior bed a couple of months ago, and he is sooooo proud of it. It's just like his brother's, only blue instead of red.) But if he changes his mind, I know he can crawl into his bed, and I've put in a couple of layers of 'wet proofing' under the top sheet in case he decides to. But we're not going to move him; we tried once, and that only upsets him and starts another round of vomiting.
My poor boy.
But hopefully he'll emulate his brother again tomorrow by feeling 100% better. But if not, I've already got all the towels in the wash so they'll be ready for him.

It's going around here, too. I just had to buy a new twin mattress for a certain someone whom I live with who cannot seem to wake up enough to hork. Poor kids.
Poor baby. :( I hope it is just as short lived for him as it was his brother.
Aw, poor guy - I hope he's better by now!
Oh, poor BooBaaa! Being sick is no fun for anybody! Hope he's feeling better soon.
(And that you get to be done with all the yucky cleanup!)
Aw, poor lamb.
I had one barfing on Friday and one barfing this morning. Good times.
awww...I was ready to comment on the previous post, and say that in the spirit of the season, a Trini would tell you "the boy so cute he get malju" (derived from the French mals yeux), but that kind of bug is awful. Poor Boo must be traumatised. Hopefully he'll be better tomorrow!
Wishing your sick boy a quick recovery! :)
I hope that he's the last in your family to get the bug! Poor kiddo.
sorry about your boys
hope they get better
